What this policy covers
This privacy page explains what SILKENNEST collects when you browse or order, why we hold it, who else sees it, and how to have it removed. It applies to this website and to the service desk. It is written to be read once, in full, rather than skimmed.

We collect what an order needs and what a warranty claim needs, and as little else as possible. We do not sell personal information, we do not rent it, and we do not build advertising profiles of shoppers.
What we collect
- Contact and delivery details: name, delivery address, email address and telephone number.
- Order history: items, dates, amounts, and the batch codes tied to your orders.
- Age confirmation: the declaration you make at checkout and the confirmation the carrier returns to us on delivery.
- Service records: claim notes, bench findings and the parts sent to you.
- Technical data: the pages you visited and the type of device you used, held in aggregate rather than per person.
Payment details
Card numbers are entered on the payment provider’s own page and are not stored on this site. We receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded, the last four digits of the card and an authorization reference. Refunds are issued back to the method used for the purchase.
Who sees your data
The payment provider, the delivery carrier and the platform that hosts this store see only the fields they need to do their job. Your email address is not passed to a mailing list, because this store does not run one, and it is not used for advertising.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and warranty administration require. Age verification records are kept no longer than the age rule requires. Claim notes are kept for the life of the cover plus a short tail, so that a fault that returns is recognized as a repeat rather than treated as new.
Your choices
Write to the service desk to ask for a copy of what we hold, to have an error corrected, or to have anything we are not required to keep deleted. You can also ask us to use your email for nothing except the order itself; there is nothing else to switch off.
Cookies
The cart, the session and the age check use small cookies. The Cookie Policy lists the categories, and blocking the essential ones will stop checkout from working.
