Cookie Policy

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that this site asks your browser to keep, so that a later request can be matched to an earlier one. The cookies set here exist to run the shop; they are not used to follow you around the internet.

The cookies this store sets

Three essential categories are used:

  • A session cookie, which keeps the cart contents, the checkout steps and the age confirmation together while you shop. It expires when the browser session ends.
  • A cart cookie, which restores a saved cart if you return within a short window.
  • A security cookie, which protects the checkout forms against automated submission.

A preference cookie may also be set to remember a display choice such as text size. It stores a setting and nothing about you.

What we do not set

No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels and no social media embeds are used on this site. Nothing here builds a profile of your browsing for sale or for retargeting, because this store does not advertise that way.

Third-party cookies

The payment provider may set its own cookies on its payment page to complete a transaction securely. Those cookies are governed by that provider’s own cookie and privacy notices rather than by this page.

Managing cookies

Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies from its settings, and most offer a private or incognito mode that discards them when the window closes. Blocking the essential categories will break the cart, the checkout and the age check, so they cannot be switched off while still ordering.

If you block the essential cookies

You can still browse the catalog and read every policy page. You will not be able to keep a cart between pages or complete an order. If you would rather order by another route, write to the service desk and ask what is possible.

Contact

A cookie question is easy to answer if you say which browser you use. Email [email protected] or call +1 212 555 0142. If you have cleared cookies and the cart emptied, that is expected rather than a fault.
